Celine Ruben-Salama
Founder and CEO
When asked as a child what she wanted to be when she grew up, Celine answered, "I'm going to be the boss." She combines her interest in design and deep personal beliefs in the importance of environmental and social consciousness with her background in Business Consulting, Finance and Information Technology to run Pro'tech'd. As a designer, Celine's work was exhibited as part of
Tokyo Designer Block 2004 and
Swedish Style 2004. She was born in Nairobi, Kenya 25 years ago and now calls New York City home. Celine is also System Design Manager for
CEG Worldwide.

The California based organic hand-knit sweater company manages our fair-trade labor force and procures environmentally friendly raw materials. They work directly with our Peruvian artisans and their knitting cooperatives, assisting with quality control measures, sound production, planning and management. Indigenous Designs exists to support fair trade and the preservation of socio-cultural and planetary environments while providing outstanding quality. Members of the
Organic Trade Organization (OTA) and certified by the
Fair Trade Federation.

Judith Rytz
Graphic Designer
Currently working at the magazine Tokion in New York, Judith's graphic design training comes from Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris. She is a graduate of Stockholm School of Economics with a focus on Corporate Communications and Design. As such, she creates the design concepts for all Pro'tech'd print and web publications. Judith hails from Borås, Sweden and is a Stockholm/New York resident.
Mariya Lysenkova/Verdage
Web Developer
Mariya is the founder of
Verdage, a New York Web development firm that caters to Green Businesses. A former (and still-occasional) journalist and translator, she is a graduate of New York University with a degree in Computer Science and Linguistics. Mariya, who is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, wants to move to Scandinavia.
